Kevin, thank you for giving us this interview to our blog "Questões e Argumentos", it is an honor
to interview you, for you as being the year 2014 and what are your plans for the future?
Kevin: Plan on more touring and recording. Hope for more than the last year is always the wish.

When can we expect a new Deicide album?
Kevin: There are riffs written for another album. When we start getting together, we'll decide which ones will stick. I'd like to start putting the songs together in early 2015, but it's really up to those guys. I'm sure it will be ready by 2016 sometime.
You are in Clearwater - Florida in the United States, how you see the underground scene in your area? What bands would you highlight?
Kevin: I did a solo for Promethan Horde. That turned out pretty cool so check them out.
How was the experience for you to record "In the minds of Evil" with Deicide? Talk a little about the recording process of the álbum.
Kevin: Recording went pretty smoothly. Jason Seucof is great to work with and made the entire process fun. I was around for most of the tracking because I just enjoy being in the studio. Everyone came in and did their thing. It was a lot more pleasant then you'd think for recording death metal. Hahaha.
What bands are you currently hearing?
Kevin: I'm waiting on the new Sanctuary, Ne Obliviscaris and material that I'm working on. This year I'm listening to Winter of Sin, Alestorm, new Cannibal Corpse, Carach Angren, new Kampfar, new Insomnium and Steel Panther.
What are your main musical influences?
Kevin: I learned to play guitar by going over early Metallica tab. I can't say a particular bands entire discography, but certain albums. Metallica's Master of Puppets and ...and justice for all. Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss and Reign in Blood. Kreator's Coma of Souls. First Deicide and Morbid Angel.

When will be the next shows? Talk the dates for our readers.
Kevin: Deicide is planning a US tour in October with Septicflesh, Inquisition, Abysmal Dawn and Carach Angren. So that is an awesome tour package. Deicide will also be doing a European tour in December. We've already played Costa Rica, Colombia and Brazil this year.
How was the worldwide impact of "In the minds of Evil"?
Kevin: Seems pretty positive from reading reviews and online feedback. We'll know more when we do these upcoming tours. If people are singing along to the new songs then we'll know. The new ones fit into the set pretty well if you ask me.

What is your favorite album of Deicide?
Kevin: The self titled and Once Upon The Cross were favorites back in the day, but the new one I really like as well. So, it's those three. Can't choose one.
Which brands support / endorsed you nowadays?
Kevin: Intune guitar picks, Crimson Cabinets and Schecter Guitars. I really love these Schecters.
What stage equipment you have used on tour?
Kevin: Intune guitar picks. Crimson cabinets with 75's in them and custom Deicide logo. An old digitech RP 10, love those. Marshall JVM head. Schecter Hellraiser Guitars with a Floyd Rose. I've got three of them. I also have a Damien, but I just use that for tracking at home.
Tell us about your old bands: Council of the Fallen, Order of Ennead, Shadow Society, you want them to release some stuff soon?
COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN: put out 2 albums. Recently jammed with Derek Roddy again and we tracked drums for some songs. Couple from the first album we recorded again. Also one from the second album and a couple new songs. Put them out sometime early 2015.
SHADOW SOCIETY: Tracking drums in November. I'll be recording solos for the album early 2015.
ORDER OF ENNEAD: Put out 2 albums. Have 5 songs ready to go. We'll be tracking them early 2015.
Unnamed project with Robin from the Amenta. Have 4 songs I need to write lyrics too for this. They'll be ready early 2015 as well.
How has your participation in the band Cannabis Corpse, in the album "From Wisdom to Baked"?
Kevin: I met Phil years ago and he's wanted me to do something with him. When they were working on an album it just made sense to do a solo. Turned out pretty well. I tracked it at home and they dropped it in. It's amazing what you can do from far away these days.
Kevin, thank you very much for the interview, leaves a message for the band's fans and blog readers also let your contacts.
Kevin: Thanks for the interview. Come see Deicide while on the road and check out some of the projects that I'm working on. Appreciate the support.
